Customers

This article will show you how to work with your customers in the Ellity console.

Customer list. 

You can access the customer list via the main menu on the left.

In the list, you can see the customer's e-mail, their current account status, telephone, first and last name, registration flag, customer group and the date of the last change.

On the right of the line for each customer, you can see the buttons for viewing the account history and editing the customer.

You can filter the list by registration, group and search it by e-mail, name and phone.

Customer account history

If you need to see the customer's point earning and usage history, press the clock button on their row. A window with changes over time will open. Each record contains the time, the value of the change, the action for which the points were earned/used and, if applicable, a note.

Here is a list of events

  • Order - obtaining points for the purchase, or withdrawal in case of cancellation, the note contains the order number
  • Discharging- use of points on the order, which is again in the note. 

    In case of cancellation, the value is positive.

  • Administrator - points credited by the administrator (see below)
  • Registration
  • Newsletter
  • Nameday
  • Birthday
  • Anniversary
  • Review
  • etc.

If you need to change the customer's account, subtract or add points (for example, for a delayed order), click on the button with the symbol of a pencil on paper and you will get to the account editing.

Here you can add or subtract credits, either according to predefined values ​​or you can enter your own. You directly write the Actual balance of the account, if it is a value with a decimal place, always use a period instead of a decimal point.

You can also write a note about the change, which will appear in the history. The client will then see these changes in his profile on your e-shop.

Sending a PIN to an unregistered customer

An unregistered customer needs a PIN to redeem his points. This PIN will be sent to your e-mail when you place your first order. If the customer loses their PIN, they cannot redeem points. However, he can contact you to generate and send him a new PIN

Open the detail of the given unregistered customer. Click the icon in the upper right corner.

Then click on the "Send PIN to email" button. The customer will immediately receive a new and current PIN code to his e-mail address.

Important

Registered customers do not need a PIN. To redeem your points, you only have to log in to your account in the e-shop. Then they can draw their points.

Export accounts to e-mailing services

Through the integrations of e-mailing services, you can continue to work with your customers in your campaigns.

Among other things, you can export your customers from their accounts to a given service connection (for example, SmartEmailling, etc.). You can do this export from the customer list via the export button on the right next to the search field. It is not always necessary to export. It is enough only when connecting to the service for the first time, after which Ellity handles the synchronization automatically when changing the customer account or its data.
